WHERE HAVE ALL THE BUYERS GONE?

Remember that old  Peter, Paul and Mary song?  I often think of it as we get into the very late summer.  Suddenly the hot selling season, with multiple offers, and 20 or more showings a week just ceases.  There are a host of reasons: Back to school activities for buyers and their agents, the impact of the beginning of the school year on the desire to move, increased inventory due to sellers wanting to take advantage of higher prices.  This year, increased interest rates are also keeping buyers away.

So, is this a good time to buy?  You bet it is!  Choices are better than any other time of the year.  Sellers are more flexible, and buyers actually get a chance to think before they act.  So, if you are thinking of buying, or if you know someone else who is, now is the time to act!

Also, if I may ask, “What are your real estate plans for the next year or two? How can we help?”  We’d love to hear from you and as always, assist you with your real estate needs or questions.
