4th of July – America’s Birthday
Here’s hoping you and your families are enjoying a wonderful 4th of July!
As we all know, the 4th celebrates this Independence of the then about to be United States of America from control by Great Britain.
It is amazing how the World changes. This past fall, Susan and I visited the D-Day Beaches in Normandy, where thousands of American and British serviceman gave their lives is a joint effort to rid the World of the plague that was Nazi Germany. We can be very thankful that these two Countries have become Allies and friends. The World would have been a very different place if they had not joined forces so many years ago!
We are also at the middle of 2018. Where does time go? In our lives, it’s time to evaluate the last several months and make plans for the future.
